My lucky day!!!!

Look what I got! 14 windows and 4 chairs!!I love the man at the dump. I stopped to ask him if I could take the brown chair and he said yes, did you see all the windows I saved for you too? This isn’t even half of the windows he had but I didn’t have enough room for it all so I have to go back for the rest another day. I want to make this and this and this and this and the one chair is an old rocker that is missing only one spindle but is in great shape otherwise. I am so lucky!!! I cant wait to make my trash into treasure. Check out Margo at http://robomargo.com/trash.html and you will see more of her amazing creations

  1. What terrific finds, congrats! That would certainly make my day! I have a pile of things like this in my barn that I run to. I also made the window planter and just love it. I enjoyed visiting you this morning, you have a lovely blog. :-)

  2. Oh Jenn what neat ideas. I like the upside down chair/towel holder. You got some great deals there. You are lucky the dump allows you to take this stuff. A lot of dumps don’t! I don’t know if you do needlework at all but I use old windows expectualy if they have sashes in them as picture frames. I have one in the downstairs bathroom that has 8 panes. The four outter ones I put needlework in of antique shops and the four inner ones mirrors. Its our bathroom mirror. Another good thing to do is to put tin ceiling or the faux wallpaper that looks like tin ceiling under glass and makes a great table top.

I took a look at Mary Janes Farm. I use to belong years ago but of course forgot my username ect. They have done some really neat things there. So I signed up again. I think I might join the blog-a-thon too once I get some pics in the computer.

Have you gotten a lot of snow this week? Its about 21C here but we see the prairies under the white stuff!
